Guides

Configure a tag profile

Build the public profile visitors see when they scan or open a Zwyn Tag.

The tag profile is the public-facing page visitors see when they scan or open a Zwyn Tag. You can configure it with profile blocks, images, links, labels, icons, and other visible information.

Before you start

  • You need to be signed in as the owner of the tag.
  • The tag needs to be claimed and visible in your dashboard or My Tags page.
  • Prepare the information you want visitors to see, such as text, images, links, or contact details.

Try profile block layout

Use the playground to understand how profile blocks can be moved, resized, and arranged before working on a real tag.

Profile tips

  • Start with the most important information first, then add more blocks only when they help visitors.
  • Use image blocks for visual identification, object photos, gallery content, or useful visual context.
  • Use labels and icons to separate sections or make important information easier to scan.
  • Use entries instead of profile blocks for history, logs, reports, or information that changes over time.

What happens next

  • Visitors see the updated profile when they open the public tag page, depending on the tag access settings.
  • The tag overview shows a snapshot of the configured profile blocks.
  • You can return to the Profile page later to add, remove, rearrange, or update blocks.

Profile content is public-facing

Only add information to the profile that should be visible to the audiences allowed by your access settings.
