Claiming a tag connects a physical Zwyn Tag to your account. After the tag is claimed, it appears in your dashboard and can be managed by you.

Before you start

• You need to be signed in to a Zwyn account.
• You need the public tag ID of the physical tag.
• You need the private claim code that belongs to the physical tag.
• The claim code can only be used once. After a successful claim, that code is no longer useful.

Steps

1. 1 Sign in to your Zwyn account.
2. 2 Open the claim page from the dashboard or My Tags area.
3. 3 Enter the public tag ID of the tag you want to claim.
4. 4 Enter the private claim code that came with the physical tag.
5. 5 Submit the claim form and wait for Zwyn to connect the tag to your account.
6. 6 After the claim succeeds, open the tag from your dashboard or My Tags page.

What happens next

• The claimed tag appears in your dashboard and in My Tags.
• You can open the tag overview to manage the profile, entries, access settings, general settings, and state.
• You can configure the public profile so visitors see the right information when they scan the tag.
• You can adjust access settings if the tag should be public, restricted, or owner-only.
