If scanning a Zwyn Tag does not open the expected page, the problem is usually related to the QR code, NFC scan, internet connection, public tag ID, tag state, or access settings.

The QR code does not open

• Use the normal camera app or a trusted QR scanner and make sure the full QR code is visible.
• Try better lighting and hold the phone steady until the scan link appears.
• Check whether the printed QR code is damaged, dirty, scratched, or partly covered.
• Move the phone slightly closer or farther away if the camera cannot focus.

NFC does not open

• Make sure NFC is enabled on the phone if your device requires it.
• Move the phone slowly over the tag, because the NFC antenna position is different on each device.
• Remove thick phone cases, metal plates, or accessories that could block NFC scanning.
• If NFC still does not work, scan the QR code instead.

The tag page does not load

• Check your internet connection and reload the page.
• Try opening the link in a browser if it opened inside another app preview.
• Check that the public tag ID in the URL was not changed or copied incorrectly.
• If the tag is disabled, the public page may not behave like an active tag page.
• If the tag is protected by access settings, you may need to sign in or meet the required access rules.

The tag opens the wrong page

• Make sure you are scanning the current physical tag and not using an old saved link.
• Compare the public tag ID on the physical tag with the public tag ID shown in the opened URL.
• If you own the tag, open it from My Tags and compare the public page with the tag overview.

I scanned the tag but cannot manage it

• Scanning a public tag link only opens the public page. It does not automatically make you the owner.
• To manage a tag, it must be claimed by your account.
• Claiming requires the public tag ID and the private claim code that belongs to the physical tag.
• If the claim code was already used, the tag may already belong to an account.
